I Made A Big Mistake Today

So I was at the camera store today looking for a Sigma 50 1.4.
unfortunately they did not have a sigma 50 in stock.
They had a 30 1.4 but I was not sure I liked the focal length.
I had the wife there and was trying to explain the differences.
I put the 30 on my camera took a few shots and showed her.
They didn't have a 50 to compare it to.

but they did have a 50 1.2L

I knew I should not have have asked to see it, but I did.

I took a few shots and wow....I really should never have touched that lens.
I show the wife the shots and she really liked "the blurry parts" as she says. (she has no clue how much it costs at this point)

I then saw the 5dii sitting there and wanted to show my wife the difference between full frame and crop.

So there I am with a 5dii and 50L in my hands, my mind is racing and I am starting to sweat.
I fire off a few pictures and wow....I should not have done that, this was a big mistake.

I then show my wife the pictures and she says "wow those look amazing"....she should not have said that.
she then asked how much are they?.....you should have seen her face when I told her LOL.
she then said, well I am sure you will figure out a way to get those someday.

so now I am in hell trying to figure out how to turn "someday" into someday soon.

I was perfectly happy when I walked into that store, and now I am tortured and my set up seems some how "less than".

I guess the good news is I did not ask to see the 1dMIV
