Tokyo, Japan-- April 21, 2015– SIGMA Corporation (hereafter referred to as “SIGMA”) and Nikon Corporation (hereafter referred to as “Nikon”) have reached a settlement at the Intellectual Property High Court which includes a patent infringement lawsuit against SIGMA.
日本东京，2015.4.21.适马公司和尼康公司就尼康公司对适马公司在知识产权高级法院起诉的知识产权侵权诉讼案达成协议。
On May 25, 2011, Nikon filed a patent infringement lawsuit against SIGMA to the Tokyo District Court alleging SIGMA had infringed patent rights owned by Nikon and sought for an injunction and compensation for SIGMA’s manufacture and sale of infringing interchangeable lenses for single lens reflex cameras.
2011.5.25.,尼康在东京地方法院起诉适马知识产权侵权，诉称适马制造和销售侵犯了尼康拥有知识产权的单反镜头，并要求相应的赔偿。
In the proceedings of the trials, based on the recommendation of the Intellectual Property High Court, in order to enable an early and amicable resolution of the issue, both parties have reached a mutually agreed settlement on the disputed patents.
As mentioned above, both parties have amicably reached a settlement on this issue.
诉讼过程中，基于知识产权高级法院的建议，为了早日友好地解决该等争议，双方就争议专利达成多项协议。
The terms and conditions of the settlement agreement are to be kept confidential between both parties and are not allowed to be disclosed to a third party.
协议的具体条款及条件对外保密，任何一方不得向第三方泄露。
