Two filmmakers who sat down with a group of officials from Olympus “xxxx”. They said, the M5 mii would be a first and that they are waiting for the response from user, they also made it very clear that the M1 would remain their top model and that upcoming (firmware) updates will also make it very clear that the M1 is the first choice for video as well. 4K will be coming in the foreseeable future they are aware of the need for it, wether in a new model or via firmware, they did not state.

Makes a lot of sense to me.

个人渣水平看了下，意思大概就是

“两个电影制作人和一群奥巴的官员坐下来谈了一些事情，先提到E-M5二代，并且正在等待用户的反馈。而说得很清楚的一件事情是他们会让E-M1获得固件升级，让它继续保持定位高于E-M5二代的旗舰地位，并且会作为视频拍摄机型的第一选择。他们知道4K的必要性，并且在可预见的将来会以不管是发布新机型还是通过固件更新的方法到来，不过他们没有明确表示。“

E-M5二代出来以后确实很多奥巴机型以下犯上的特点，不单只是多数表现和E-M1持平，有些地方还更优于E-M1，实际入手价格差距好像还不大。从之前E-M1升级固件大幅提升连拍速度等情况来看，奥巴也是决心打算要继续挖掘E-M1的潜能啊。。包括这段提到真的能通过固件更新获得4K能力的话。这样一来可能E-M1的生命周期的延长就会让E-M1二代有所来迟了，不过既然之前已经有索尼那边做好新的4/3传感器的消息了，相信新机也不会太晚

说好的固件4k一直都是浮云呢。
