与大名鼎鼎的《The Dark Side of the Moon》和《The Wall》相比，《The Final Cut》是一张被遗忘的专辑，不仅知名度差，且在乐迷口中口碑欠佳，但这无损于它的伟大，曾被滚石杂志誉为“艺术摇滚”的巅峰之作。不能因为大多数人不喜欢，就去忽视它。我喜欢PF三十多年了，听的频率最高的专辑反而是《Animals》&《The Final Cut》水爷真的不水，不仅歌词极富诗意，人声贡献也极为优秀。

有段时间没听pink floyd了，要经常拿出来听听才行，最近几年都是听jazz多一些。
pink floyd的音乐，我觉得是前无古人，暂时也没见到有那个后人能达到同样的巅峰。

关于版本，所有PF专辑我的经验是尽可能选日版首版无论是收藏亦或欣赏，仅就这张专辑而言差异却不是很明显，峰值电平也很接近，所以纯欣赏的话二版性价比超高不到首版一个零头。还有一个需要注意的问题早期日系的一些首版CD（基本都是85年前的）有“ pre-emphasis”，需要你的CD机带“de-emphasis”……What is pre-emphasis? - In the early years of CD manufacturing, a process called “pre-emphasis”was used to try and improve the sound of compact discs. Due to the fact that the analog to digital converters of the time period produced low level noise during the analog to digital conversion process, engineers used a method whereby high frequencies were boosted during the A/D conversion process, and the same frequencies were then reduced during D/A playback, thus eliminating the low level noise. In order for CD players to detect pre-emphasis on a CD, a “flag” was added to the digital data on the CD that the player detects, thus allowing it to “de-emphasize” the signal on playback.CD唱片中的预加重处理某部分CD唱片的母版在制作时还会使用pre-emphasis（预加重）处理，这种处理方式跟模拟录音/回放时期的杜比降噪的原理和目的是一样的，用于提高信噪比。经过pre-emphasis（预加重）处理的CD唱片，对高频部分进行抬升（在20KHz部分的抬升量达到9.49dB）。对于采用这种处理方式的CD唱片），要求CD机，或DAC自带de-emphasis（去加重）功能才能正确地重播，否则高频听起来会非常突出。
