CompactFlash Association今天公布了5.0版CF卡规范，新版规范增加了28到48位的存储量指数，解决了目前137GB的存储量限制，理论上新款CF卡最大可支持144PB空间。
CF卡对于摄影师和摄像师来说有着特别的意义，CF有可选的服务质量框架，可以保证图像视频水平，防止丢帧。

特别是在高清视频模式下，5.0版CF卡规范可以实现各种大小的高分辨率RAW拍摄，目前没有生产厂家表示有5.0规范产品推出，这一切还可能要几个月后才能看到。
