新款大切诺基采用Quadra Lift空气悬挂系统，该系统可提供高度控制，在停车模式下，能够将汽车抬升4.5英寸，而在越野行驶时可将汽车的行驶高度抬升到最大限度，即抬升11.1英寸。克莱斯勒还提供了三种不同的全轮驱动模式，即Quadra-Trac I模式、Quadra-Trac II模式及带有电子限滑差速器的Quadra-Drive II模式。不同的模式提供不同等级的防滑保护，并依据牵引力的等级平稳地将发动机的扭矩输出分配给各个轮胎。

99款大切的造型可谓无与伦比，登峰造极。这款车有那么一点影子，但是还是差距很大。斜45度可谓最好的角度，如果侧视感觉就差多了。
