Santa's got a new sleigh - and it's got room for ten. Rudolph may have been rendered redundant by this seven-engined, four-wheeled, 24½-foot long Harley Davidson. The brainchild of Steve 'Doc' Hopkins, it is actually a history of Harley on wheels. Dubbed Timeline, it features all of the firm's air-cooled big-twin motors from 1909 to present - namely the F-Head, Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution Blockhead and Twin Cam. The beast has two front wheels and two drive wheels at the rear and boasts 40-feet of chain.

A milky waterfall appears to be cascading down from the Milky Way. Photographer Tore Heggelund had set out to capture the Milky Way on a clear night above Hardangerfjord, Norway. He realised the lighting conditions and a long exposure caused a nearby waterfall to glow bright white. And after carefully positioning his camera, Tore managed to create the illusion of a river of milk plummeting from the night sky.
