About me
I have been working as a CEO for a leading financial leasing group in Turkey. After 25 years I
retired from it, to get more time for my photographic passion. Today all my time is
dedicated to photography. It become much more than just a hobby.
My first personal exhibition '' One Shift of Coal Mine Workers '' took place between 26 April 2011-15 May 2011 in Izmir, 5 - 20 June 2011 in Istanbul , 3 -10 March 2012 in Zonguldak,where the subject photographs taken.
Other documentary works and projects are :
Cattle Show in Rurals of Turkey ,
Story of Oil Wrestling Kirkpinar (with gold medal awarded in Photo Portfolio Competition in Italy) ,
Flamenco Istanbul ,
Now (as of June 2012) I am working on a very colourful small town in Anatolia.

Bossa nova 波萨诺瓦 波萨诺瓦是曼波（Mambo）音乐与冷爵士融合的结果，同时也吸取了一些桑巴（Samba）音乐的特点。它的音响效果不喧闹，给人的直觉好像是歌手与听众聊天时的窃窃私语。波萨诺瓦的旋律性不强，而且带有很多的变化音，它不像曼波那样仅注重旋律和节奏型，而是强调和声、节奏、旋律的整体效果。其和声语言、旋律展开及织体结构均较曼波复杂与丰富。在音色上突出木吉他清脆的节奏性，并有意削弱了拉美打击乐器(如沙球、响棒等)的色彩；在调性运用上常有主属关系的大小调交替(如a小调与D大调)等较为复杂的发展手法。其节奏（请参考例44 ）在曼波的基础上变得更加复杂，形成了丰富多彩的节奏形态。 斯坦·盖茨（Stan Getz，1927～1991）为波萨诺瓦的传播作出了巨大的贡献。作为一名次中音萨克斯演奏家，他以优美的旋律而著称。第二次世界大战期间，许多爵士音乐家都应征入伍，一些乐队出现了乐手缺乏现象，而盖茨为了逃避街头动乱便加入了大乐队。40年代中期，他在本尼·古德曼的乐队中演奏，在此期间他的演奏水平得到了很大的提高。50年代，他与一些西海岸音乐家合作录制了一些冷爵士唱片。1962年他与吉他手查理·伯德（Charlie Byrd）录制了一张名为《爵士桑巴》（Jazz Samba）的专辑，从而使波萨诺瓦开始在美国得到了广泛流行。1963年他又和来自巴西的吉他手乔安·吉尔巴托（Joao Gilberto）和钢琴手安东尼·卡洛斯·乔宾（Antonio Carlos Jobim）录制了专辑《盖茨／吉尔巴托》，其中由乔安·吉尔巴托和他的妻子阿斯特鲁德·吉尔巴托（Astrud Giberto）演唱的《来自伊潘※※的女孩》（The Girl From Ipanema）成了波萨诺瓦的经典名曲。在斯坦·盖茨的推动下波萨诺瓦成了世界瞩目的爵士风格之一到人们的一致赞扬。

Photography - Self taught since 1979
Ricardo Junqueira was born in Brasília, on May 21st 1965, where he lived until he was 22 years old. He started taking photographs in 1979 and became a professional photographer in 1984. From the beginning, he strived to research and reach results where technique was as important as artistic expression and creativity.
In order to develop as a photographer he moved to São Paulo, Brazil's commercial capital, in August 1988, where he worked in several photographic studios in advertising, whilst always maintaining a preoccupation with the artistic side of photography. Testament to that is the fact that he always tried to combine both aspects - the artistic and the commercial - in his work either by employing unconventional research techniques or methods of production in his commercial work, or by using, where possible, the income from his commercial work to support his artistic endeavour, which was show-cased in exhibitions and publications.
From January to August 1991 he co-coordinated a centre for research, portfolio assembling and exhibitions at the Collectors Gallery in São Paulo.
In 1992, he ceased to be an assistant and conquered a share of the highly competitive professional photography market in São Paulo, where he published photographic essays on several newspapers and magazines. He also worked on commission for advertising companies such as JW Thompson, DPZ, Grottera, Parra, Stalimir, Great and more.
From 1993 to 1994 he taught photography at Escola Panamericana de Arte at São Paulo, a major art school in Brazil.
In 1996 he moved to Natal, in the State of Rio Grande do Norte, in search of a better quality of life and to conquer new professional horizons. This is where he now lives and works.
Ricardo is a member of Abrafoto - Brazilian Association of Advertising Photographers since 1999.
