Chicago的好歌太多了，他们的专辑编名尤其容易让人一下子花了眼，弄不清哪个是哪个。
If You Leave Me Now这首曲子我第一次听到还是Shadows吉他乐队的演奏，很好听。想想顺理成章，这首歌的速度和旋律挺适合电吉他的。 Peter Cetera我有一段时间很迷，很喜欢他的那个One More Story专辑，也是弄到了一盘翻录带，记得还是当时新版的TDK透明空※※翻录的，正好那个封面很简洁，虽然从封面到磁带都是拷贝，但看上去也很不错。呵呵，又忍不住怀旧了。 |

活跃在70-80年代的Chicago乐队是俺一开始就非常喜欢的一支乐队，大学时同学给翻录的一盒90分钟的磁带都快被我听烂了。

发现大家都有意无意中避免多谈Sting，可能也是他的知名度太高了。这位在80年代中期开始独唱生涯的大师至今风格不详，我反正说不出他准确的风格来。Wikipeda 把他的音乐基因归结为Rock, classical, jazz。Sting有着非常独特，富有磁性的嗓音，他的曲子旋律深沉，优美，富有哲理。 听过他说话，唱歌的人可能都不会忘掉他。 这位老兄也是在中国最具有知名度的西洋歌手之一， 尤其深受女性喜爱。在上海，小资女性若参与到音乐话题， Sting往往会从她们的嘴里冒出来，呵呵！
Sting在80年代有好几张非常有影响力的专辑，其实不如从这张《The Dream of the Blue Turtles 》说起。 The Dream of the Blue Turtles is the first solo and debut studio album released by British pop singer-songwriter Sting, released in the United States on June 1, 1985. It includes ten tracks and was released in 1985, only a year after The Police had unofficially broken up. The album features some of Sting's strongest political songs, including "Russians" (about Cold War nuclear anxieties, which had peaked in the 1980s); "Children's Crusade" (comparing the destruction of the younger generation in World War I to the devastation brought about by ※※※※※※ addiction in modern-day London); and "We Work the Black Seam" (about the recent U.K. Miners' Strike). Linda Ronstadt这位当年的玉女歌手美貌动人,嗓音甜美性感, 她从60年代末开始歌唱生涯至今还不时活动在舞台上, 也是歌坛常青树了. 这首歌也出现在86年的卡通电影<An American Tail>里.

It appears in the 1986 animated film An American Tail. The song was sung by Phillip Glasser (for the character of the brother in the film) and Betsy Cathcart (for the character of the sister). A professionally sung version performed by Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram was also recorded for the closing credits. The Ronstadt–Ingram single went to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in March 1987. Further information: 1987 in music It was later certified Gold for sales of more than 1 million copies sold in the United States.
