For years he was the guitarist of Fats Domino, and he went on tour with all the great jazz musicians. After the huricane katrina he escaped New Orleans and came to Belgium. Last sunday (22/09/09) he performed in Bruges at the wonderful street happening "autoloze zondag" (day without motorised traffic). I want to thank him for the very fine music he brings  |

It is a custom that the people bring to this ceremony a special type of cake called "coliva", fruits, bread and wine. Coliva is made also for funerals. This was the moment when we were waiting the mass to begin. The woman in the left was crossing herself and the man in front was just fixing a candle.    |
