------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pandanus War Has become a tradition for Indigenous Village Community Tenganan Dauh Tukad, Karangasem regency, Bali held a tradition of activity "pandanus war. Pandan is an annual tradition of war held in a series of ceremonies Ngusaba Village, at the Desa Adat Tenganan Dauh Tukad, about 78 kilometers northeast, the city of Denpasar. which will involve dozens of pairs of fighters from the two groups facing each other consisting of children - children, youth and parents. Pandan war will take place starting at 13:00 noon, for three hours, before the ritual begins ngusaba village. What makes this unique is a weapon of war used, not the form of sharp weapon but with thorny pandan leaves are used to fight during the game. Pandan war accompanied by traditional music of Bali as an encouragement, for the harder sounds of gamelan, the more zeal for attacking the opponent. Besides, this war is also accompanied by the song or gending called mekara-kara. In every game this pandanus war led by a referee whose job is to lead the match. Each person will bring a bunch of thorny pandan leaves the average - average consists of 20 stems of leaves.
