About me
Like any other photographer who pursues art, I try to bring something personal to every photo I take.
I am still learning a lot about photography every day, but as much as I discover through this discipline, I still recognize that photography is an open space, in which there are constantly new opportunities to explore it deeper.
Although I've always valued photography, how I came to this profession was rather coincidental. I helped my friend Vedran Vidak photograph a wedding, and our partnership worked out very well. He became my mentor after that, encouraging me to pursue what he believed was my inborn talent.
After spending a few years capturing regional subjects and scenery, I thought I could really challenge myself in the field, and so I joined a mission to Tanzania with an aid association.
In retrospect, I look at that decision as a kind of instinctual compass which reinforced my desire to do this type of photography.
I also find myself surrendering more and more to Africa, although I don't think it is a conscious decision on my part. Instead, there is an unparalleled and reassuring spirit emanating from that continent that it overwhelms with genuine and raw energy. And so, I was lured by it from the beginning, and that is where I feel I belong.

那试问这个灰阶过渡从何而来呢，它来自于光影的明暗过渡才对！，即明暗2:1的小光比罢了。
所以中间调用的决不是有光无影的平光，那样只能得到没有过渡、缺乏“立体感”的扁平大白脸效果哈，，这张爱尔兰人拍的儿童伦勃朗光效就是个例证，请各位留意观摩哈！。

About me
I am semi-professional photographer, living in Kranj, Slovenia. My first attempts in photography date back to 2005 and since 2008 I've been totally hooked. Photography has become my playground, my way of thinking and seeing the world around me and it really helps me in my professional life as psychotherapist and manager.
I first started to enlarge my basic photographic knowledge by participating in web photo portals and forums and good responses encouraged me on an even more intensive engagement in photography. On the year-round contest at "e-fotografija.si" web gallery I won the title of the "e-Photographer of the year 2010" and only a year later became the winner of "The Photographer of the year 2011" contest of the magazine "Digitalna revija".
In September 2010 I summoned up all my courage and sent my first photo to my first photo salon and since then I have participated in many domestic and international salons. Within a period of eighteen months I collected, with approximate 130 photos, 800 acceptations at 180 exhibitions in 25 countries. So far, I have been awarded 72 times for 30 photos; five times I've been nominated "Best Author"; I've won 2 gold, 11 silver and 6 bronze medals, all on top international exhibitions under FIAP patronage. Thus, for the year 2011, I collected over 6100 exhibitor points, granted by the Slovene Photographic Association which has, until now, been the highest yearly score by any Slovenian photographer.

About me
I'm a child of the Belgian coast and the Flemish Polders. It is reflected in much of my photography, whether it is about the sea, the long straight polder canals or the weather beaten trees bent by the Southwesterly winds. The landscape in which I was born and raised, and where I still live today, is grand. It lets the eye travel to a far horizon which in turn invites to look further and seek new ones at home and abroad.
In search of new horizons I have traveled to Australia, Nepal, Canada and the United States. Traveling not only means new horizons. It also means experiencing deeper emotions. I capture these emotions in my images, which give them much more meaning than just being a recording of a landscape, a tree, a waterfall, the sea.
My photography is purely emotional. I want to give my photos a soul, I want to capture the emotions I felt when I took the photo and show them in the processed image. Every photo is a reflection of my soul.

sono cresciuta in una camera oscura, guardando mio padre che lavorava con passione alle sue foto in bianco e nero. era tanto tempo fa e il ricordo è ancora vivo. più di 30 anni sono passati ... Aprile 2011 ho deciso di iniziare a scattare foto per ritrovare quella parte di me che si nascondeva. una persona speciale mi ha messo in mano una macchina fotografica, la mia prima (e unica) Canon ed ho iniziato la mia avventura. amo guardare, vedere, raccontare, emozionare ed emozionarmi ... grazie per aver speso un po' del vostro tempo per me.
I grew up in a darkroom, watching my father, who worked passionately to his b/w photos. It was a long time ago and the memory is still alive. more than 30 years have passed ... April 2011 I decided to start taking pictures to find that part of me that was hiding. a special person put a camera in my hand, my first (and only) Canon and I started my adventure. I love looking, seeing , telling a story, touching and being touched ... thank you for spending a bit of your time for me.
