Indonesian woman at Traditional Kitchen
In Indonesia, most people living in modern style, but in countryside some people don't want to change their old fashion design of house.
In this picture, i'm trying to describe an activity of woman at kitchen in a house of a family in west java. No electrical use such a lamp but dragging aside the tiles of the roof to get the natural light lighting down inside the kitchen.

About me
After years of shooting, I found a term that comes pretty close to what I think of myself as. I am a Portraitiste Par Excellence. The portrait is what I do. In my earlier days of snapping, I did the usual mix - some landscape, some street shooting, an occasional wedding, some typical family snaps. Nowadays I rarely put the camera to my eye for something other than to take a portrait of a beautiful woman. You could say that now I am focused. And, since this is not my primary source of income, I get picky - that is, when I say beautiful, I mean it. I want to capture beauty. Not the "inner kind" but the ultimate outside - shallow as it may be, but breathtaking all the same.

I started with photgraphy at age eleven, after being given my first camera (Agfa Click). By age twelve I was developing my own film and within a year started mixing my own formula developer. In my 20's I worked for two London Stock Libraries (both long defunct) shooting travel images for advertising, travel brochures and TV backdrops. After several thousand publications I lost all interest in photography, since my hobby had turned into a job.
Several decades later I returned to my once love, after discovering the advances that digital equipment had made, which made the darkroom obselete. Now I shoot purely for my own pleasure, without any of the commercial pressures and once again I enjoy the realisation of images which crowd my wakeing hours.My name is Ken, the 'p' is the initial of my surname.

About me
I am semi-professional photographer, living in Kranj, Slovenia. My first attempts in photography date back to 2005 and since 2008 I've been totally hooked. Photography has become my playground, my way of thinking and seeing the world around me and it really helps me in my professional life as psychotherapist and manager.
I first started to enlarge my basic photographic knowledge by participating in web photo portals and forums and good responses encouraged me on an even more intensive engagement in photography. On the year-round contest at "e-fotografija.si" web gallery I won the title of the "e-Photographer of the year 2010" and only a year later became the winner of "The Photographer of the year 2011" contest of the magazine "Digitalna revija".
In September 2010 I summoned up all my courage and sent my first photo to my first photo salon and since then I have participated in many domestic and international salons. Within a period of eighteen months I collected, with approximate 130 photos, 800 acceptations at 180 exhibitions in 25 countries. So far, I have been awarded 72 times for 30 photos; five times I've been nominated "Best Author"; I've won 2 gold, 11 silver and 6 bronze medals, all on top international exhibitions under FIAP patronage.
