The back lanes of Jodhpur, India are full of such shops and almost all of them are extremely photogenic. The Elder from Boti Village This man is from the West Timorese highlands village of Boti - probably the last truly traditional village in West Timor. The village still has a king and is governed by its own rules and beliefs. Drinking from the Holy River The level of pollution in the holy rivers of India is sometimes a few thousand times the amount that a human being can intake. Somehow the devout manage to drink the polluted water and not get seriously sick. It's one of these India mysteries to me. Here a Sadhu is drinking out of a slightly less polluted river - the Narmada (less polluted in comparison to the Ganges and the Yamuna). The small town of Maheshwar, where the photo was taken, was one of the most magical places I've recently been to. Pilgrim A pilgrim walks through the morning fog after bathing in the Sangam - the confluence of two sacred rivers - the Yamuna and the Ganges. During religious festivals, pilgrims come here to bathe and cleanse themselves of all earthly sins. In winter time, when air temperature is cool, a fog envelops the areas around the rivers. Visibility does not extend beyond a couple of meters and so it seems as if everything emerges from thin air. Tea Drinkers Typical scene in rural south Rajasthan - traditionally dressed elders having chai. The whole area is maybe the most photogenic in all of India, not to mention one of the friendliest. Chit-Chat "Bharwad" Tribal girls having a laugh before going to the well to get water. Taken in a village outside of Dwarka, Gujarat, India. In the Classroom In the Tea Shack A lot of coastal Kerala's population are Christians. Here images of Jesus are just as common as those of Hindu Gods elsewhere in the country. This man is probably a fisherman (I never found out for sure). He was having his morning tea in a tea shack which I came back to a few times during my stay in Kollam - a town in the South of Kerala. Those interested can read a post from my blog, which I wrote when I shot this image, as well as some others. Salt-makers Women gathering sea water to make salt in the traditional salt-making village near Amed, Bali. Pull! Fishermen pulling out their catch at Kollam beach in Kerala. This beach is not far from the tea-shack where my other recently published image was taken. Fish Carrier Every morning men go out chest deep into the sea, collect fish from the boats and bring it back to shore, where it's picked up by their wives and taken to the market. Mattress carrier Location：Jaisalmer, India Father and Daughter Agaria Tribal Smoker Maestro People in his village called him 'Bhopa' and said that he sometimes performed shamanic rituals to cure scorpion and snake bites. After marrying off his four daughters he became a poor man, even the traditional earrings which the Rabari (this man's tribe) are famous for, had to be sold. His flock of sheep and goats was all he had left and he took great pride in them. He was able to identify any animal from afar and could distinguish any female by drinking their milk. He used a lot of special sounds for commands while herding the cattle, after a while the sounds of the cattle and his commands began to sound like a 'desert orchestra'. Rural Worker A tribal labourer in the region of Mandla, Madhya Pradesh. Reang Tribal Woman The Reang women of Tripura wear these sorts of necklases made of coins. In 1999 I got my first digital camera with only 2.5 mega pixels when I start taking family and friends portraits and some beautiful things around me while loving the ease of using digital photography. In 2002 I traveled to the USA and there I got a higher mega pixels camera and start to take pictures with a native eye of what I see around me of things that I never knew about, many friends were fond of my photography and they ask for some of my photos and use it in their computer desktop, then i started to read more about photography and learn a lot from many photography websites, forums, books and magazines and start to take more artistic pictures with more appealing angles. In 2005 i got my first digital single lens reflex camera and acquire the membership of Kuwait science club photography team and there I had the pleasure of meeting many great photographers and learn a lot about photography with them then i enroll in some photography competitions and get the first place in two of them, after couple of years I acquire the membership of the international federation of art photography and participated in some of the federations international galleries. In 2007 I start to shoot professionally with my good friend Faisal Al-Bisher under the umbrella of "EVMG" eagle vision media group when we earned the grade of creative directors and take photos for the most luxurious hotels and restaurants in Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt and Syria, today we have a great photographic knowledge in many different fields of photography and lectured some photography courses and workshops in kuwait science club and kuwait university now we are having the pleasure of taking photos and still learning about this great art. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ in love again this was made with 3 different photos I wanted to create a scene with this work for two elder lovers if you see in the background an old Kuwaiti house with an open door in in the foreground the sad woman and behind her the sorry man it's a love scenario as I see it Equipment used：Nikon D3 - nikkor 70-200 - ps4 Outdoor entertainment Egypt is great at this time of the year you can see lots of people every where doing many things but this guy here was unique ! Arabian Gate Arabian horse is one of the most beautiful living creatures in this work I wanted to show something related to the Arabian horse witch is the Arabian architecture, in this work a meant to show two works in one and the BW conversion can take it back in time to give it the feeling it needs.
