世界著名摄影大师：玛格丽特·伯克·怀特（Margaret Bourke-White)

格丽特·伯克-怀特（Margaret Bourke-White）（1904年6月14日-1971年8月27日），美国摄影家、摄影记者。

M·怀特的一生似乎与第一结下了不解之缘。当人们普遍认为工业摄影只是男人干的事的时候，她却打破了这种看法，成为第一个工业摄影记者，随后不久即崭露头角。1930年，她成了《幸福》杂志的第一个摄影记者。六年后，她为第一期《生活》画报拍摄了封面照片，并为其中的重要文章配了图片。

怀特的--生充满传奇般的经历。她几番出生入死，执意追求轰轰烈烈的生活。在纪录※※的同时，她自己也成为一个※※人物。好莱坞曾以她的经历为素材摄制了故事片《救生艇》。

伯克-怀特说：

　　“我所走过的道路，我所进行的事业，并不是出于偶然……这一切都是根据我自己的意愿设计出来的。一个人只有通过他的行动，才能使其一生变得完整……”
