About me
So, its always hard to talk about oneself, isnt it... I am an engineer living in Köln (Cologne)and phtography is a hobby that I have been performing passionately since almost 3 years now. In that time my equipment has grown quite a bit, although theres still a large list of things that I would like to have, a D700 for instance ;-)
My favourite areas of photography are (in that order) Portrait, Fine Art Nudes and Fashion/Beauty, although I also like architecture and landscape photography. However, since there is not a whole lot of impressive landscapes around Aachen, I stick to the people photography most of the time.

大部分时候,尼康的对焦精度好于佳能.但是对于象D800这么高的象素,精确对焦极为必要.因此一定要用LIVE VIEW+放大才行.下面是德国蔡司公司给我的电邮,你可以参考一下:

Thank you for your inquiry to Carl Zeiss.
Every high quality lens will be good enough for a 36MP sensor (and even much more), as long as it is used at the best f-stop for the situation, and it is focussed perfectly depending on the 3-dimensionality of the motive and the desired result.
In practical use, the resulting depth-of-field is extremely shallow with a high resolution sensor and very critical viewing conditions (e.g. 100% view in Photoshop). This requires even much higher focusing preciseness than with low resolution cameras.

Dear David,

Well, nobody would trust the results of a "test report" where a manufacturer tests his own products in comparison to similar products of other manufacturers. No camera or lens supplier ever did this kind of "testing". Such tests are done by many different independent testers, photo magazines, institutes and photographers. Depending on the test criteria, the experience of the tester and the competing products, the results of tests will be quite different.

Here a just a few words about the D800:
With its 36MP sensor, it offers about 20% more resolution like the D3X. In practical use, those small differences can only be seen in a few very fine details in some special applications.
The strongs and weaknesses of any lens on this camera are identical with the same lens on any other full-frame DSLR body.
