About me
I am an Argentine currently living in Chengdu. I am an architect during my days but the rest of the time I'm a natural born traveler and photographer.
I travel the world by bicycle, specifically around remote regions. I have ridden about 17.000km across Asia so far. Due to the nature of traveling by bicycle, it allows me to relate very intimately to the places I visit. I spend most of the time in nature and with local people which is where I focus most of my interest, thus reflected on my photography.

Life in one room 1 of 7
Life in remote Xinjiang. Uighur families live scattered around the vast and sparsely inhabited deserts and mountains of the region. Houses consist of one room where all the activities of daily life take place. Men are out in the wild most of the time, herding small herds of sheep and camels in unforgiving weather conditions, whereas women stay at home preparing the dough for the home-made bread, making sure the fireplace always has enough wood in it and taking care of the kids whose main entertainment in these isolated regions is playing with their several pets. At noon, the men and maybe some friends come back and the goat's milk tea and bread are always ready to be served to treat the guests. It'll be long until the come back by the end of the day.

About me
Started rather late with photography. First with slides but soon turned to black and white photography which remains my passion till today. After working almost 20 years in the darkroom i finally made the decision in 2010 to turn to the digital process and i have to admit i don't regret.

The Hunter

Member of the "Hadzapi" tribe who are still living form the hunt. I had the opportunity to follow them all day long which was a tremendous experience. In my opinion this picture reflects the best their strange
behaviour out their in the wilderness.

HOPLESS LIGHT

in" FROM MOZAMBIQUE WITH LOVE" collection

Taken in Cuamba, in A Center to help woman and children in need ( and iN Mozambique in need means starving and die by desease without adequate treatment). In the impossibility of helping 98% of the women and children in Cuamba this center take care of 50 women and their kids. They are in need of the most basic things: for instance they need 50 foam mattresses for the beds... as you see this grand mother is sitting on the bed where she sleeps with her orfan 3 years old grand daughter in a room she shares with 5 other woman and I don't know how many other children.

昨日在南澳杨梅坑试了哈G12，霾天，无反差，ISO100,1/60S，F4.0,8.9mm(广角端，近似于35mm）

观片小结：
1）环境肖像是人文摄影领域不可或缺的重要组成部分。
2）观片感觉，环境肖像拍摄资源主要分布在：印巴一线；印尼和东欧。
想必我3000里无忌的人文玩家也不全都是那啥地哈，咋就愣没瞧见啥顺眼的黑白环境肖像呢？不知各位如何看哈。
3）现代黑白（数码黑白）影调有走高反差，低调（压缩灰阶中间部分，突出高/低两头）路线的趋势。
